Registration for the 14th edition of Techtextil North America has begun. From June 20-22, 2017 the largest technical textile show in North America will be held at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center in Chicago, Illinois. The Future of Composites in Construction, powered by JEC Group previously JEC Americas, is once again co-located in the same hall.
The co-location is projected to draw visitors from top industry executives, buyers, designers, engineers, technical directors, plant managers, product development managers, media and more.

With exhibitors from around the world, this event will bring decision makers from all of the major industries that touch technical textiles, nonwovens, and composites together in one place to experience the latest in innovation. The 2015 show in Houston, Texas hosted 145 exhibitors from 18 countries attracting over 2,800 visitors.
Program Highlights:
Press Tour: The 2016 Press Tour was a huge success and we will continue to present exhibitors the opportunity to present to the press their new and innovative products or technologies from the start of 2017. Throughout the three show days, press tours will be conducted to visit specific booths that submit new product information. Photographers and journalist from a variety of trade press will be invited to attend.
Premier Symposium: Visitors can once again expect a top of the line symposium held concurrently with the show floor. For 3 days 25+ expert speakers will present during Techtextil North America.
The Symposium sessions will be moderated by top members of the industry. Visitors will hear from elite speakers who understand how the latest trends in technical textiles will enhance and expand their business. By participating in the following sessions visitors will deepen their knowledge of what is brewing in the industry: Textiles in the Connected Car Ecosystem; Optimizing the design and fabrication of functional fabrics; Smart Textile Product Design; The Technical Textile Industry Talent Challenge; and Part 1. Standards and Certification - Trade Facilitators Part 2. From Lifestyle Equipment to Medical Devices – Standards and Regulatory Expectations.
Graduate Program: A must visit show floor attraction is the annual Graduate Student Poster Program Posters. Graduate students from around the world will have a platform to share their research findings with peers and potential employers. Students have the ability to present their research in front of a captive audience during the 3 days of symposiums as well as during other show floor events.
Tech Talks: Tech Talks powered by the Nonwoven’s Institute is a new program to Techtextil North America. The Nonwoven’s Institute will be hosting each day Tech Talks on the show floor discussing topics such as Geosynthetics, Filtration and more. Top industry experts will be speaking on these subjects and is a complimentary program to all visitors and exhibitors.
