New Fiber Technologies
The adaption of new technologies is providing momentum for innovative uses of fiber in the technical textiles industry. This session will offer you an overview of new and emerging fibers and their usage in FR fabrics, Composites, Green Fabrics, Industrial Fabrics, and many other areas.

Protective Textiles
Widely used technical products were originally developed for use by the military and the technology has been transferred to the civilian sector. This session will include speakers who are currently working to develop the next generation of protective fabrics. A variety of topics will cover the latest R&D in protection from hazards such as chemicals and biologicals, blast and ballistics, and flames. Technical subject areas will include nanotechnology, novel materials, and surface modifications.

High Performance Composites
The use of high performance composites in technical applications continues to evolve, grow, innovate and diversify. New products and technologies are emerging to help drive this dynamic growth and innovation. This session will explore several new developments in areas throughout the supply chain of products and technologies in the high performance composites arena.

Medical Textiles
Our healthcare system is currently struggling under a number of pressures, such as an aging population, limitations to medical budgets, increasing numbers of drug-resistant bacteria and hospital acquired infections reaching epidemic proportions. The role of this session is to illustrate with the latest examples how new medical textile products are being developed. They are made from novel materials in various innovative structures to be used in a range of new and different clinical applications.

Nonwovens/Filtration
Nonwoven fabrics have been an ongoing success story in the steadily growing filtration industry. The focus of this session is on emerging technologies with an in-depth review of latest trends and technologies.
